This commitment is not only reflected in our products, but we also set other goals that define our environmental strategy. These include reducing the organization’s carbon footprint, moving towards the goal of zero waste, and driving the Sustainable Development Goals, among others.
Energy transition
At Circontrol, we are proud to share that 100% of the energy we consume is derived from renewable sources. This commitment to sustainability is reflected by the fact that a significant portion of our energy supply is generated by us, through our renewable energy systems.
As an organization, we are not just focused on the present but are also committed to future sustainability. This is why we have set an ambitious goal for 2024 – we aim to obtain the 50001 Certification for energy efficiency.
Transition to a circular economy
The best waste is the one that is not produced and, those that are inevitable should be reused and recycled. Consequently, we have set a goal to achieve Zero Waste certification. This certification recognizes companies that manage to valorize over 90% of their waste.
At the same time, we are making significant efforts to incorporate this transformation into our supply chain and our products. We strongly believe in the power of sustainable innovation to address resource scarcity and environmental impact.
Quality, environmental care, and safety are the best investments
Circontrol holds ISO 9001-2015 (quality management systems) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management systems) certifications. Additionally, we have acquired the ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) certification.
These ISO certifications further demonstrate our commitment to treating the environment, potential and existing customers, suppliers, and employees with the utmost respect and care.
