Charging the Electric Vehicle while shopping or doing errands will be more common every day. Shopping malls, cinemas, hospitals, universities or other places where drivers spend a few hours are very suitable places to charge the car before going on with your day.

Besides increasing users’ comfort that can leave the car charging while doing errands, installing charging points could also have benefits for the operators. On the one hand, they will be able to offer extra services to their customers increasing users’ satisfaction and also operators’ revenues because EV drivers will spend more time at these places while they are waiting for their vehicles to be ready to continue the route.

These facilities may be very different regarding, for example, its size or location, that’s the reason why all kind of EV chargers could be installed: wallboxes, posts and quick chargers. What will be necessary for sure is some kind of load management and monitoring solution to avoid blackouts due to grid overloading, reduce installation and operational costs, manage the charging more efficiently and monitor chargers remotely.
